We’re very proud to announce the release of Other Voices of Gnosticism, the follow-up to the critically acclaimed Voices of Gnosticism. As with the first book, this is a collection of the brightest and best voices in Gnostic studies. We continue understanding the essence and history of ancient Gnosticism, gaining deeper perspectives on the Sethians, Valentinians, Hermeticists and more. Unlike the first book, though, we cover this:

  • A more keen focus on Gnostic exemplars like Paul of Tarsus, Hermes Trismegistus, Simon Magus and more.
  • A spanning historical journey of the Gnostics that includes the Cathars, Mandaeans, Kabbalists and more.
  • Wide attention to modern Gnostic sages such as William Blake, Carl Jung, Philip K. Dick and more.

The transcripts include interviews with Tobias Churton, Nicola Denzey-Lewis, Richard Smoley, Gary Lachman, Stephan Hoeller, David Brakke, Robert Price, Sean Martin, Willis Barnstone, Daniel C. Matt and more. You would be hard-pressed to find a better understanding of the historical evolution and impact of Gnosticism than in this work.

I’d like to thank Andrew Phillip Smith for bringing this work to light. As some of you know, this book was meant to be part of the Indiegogo campaign in the summer of 2013, part of the Aeon Byte 2.0 initiative. The death of my brother, Sean, during the fundraiser (and other vagaries of fate) placed the project on the sidelines. Andrew kindly inspired me to resurrect Other Voices of Gnosticism, and now it’s out from his excellent Bardic Press.

Those of you who supported the Indiegogo campaign will soon receive your copies. Thank you for your support and patience. Those of you who assisted in the transcription will also receive a copy. The only issue is that due to a dark computer crash a while ago, I’ve lost some of your names, so please contact me if you were part of the transcribing process.

The book is available in print and ebook. If you purchase it, please leave a review so we can bring it to even more light. After all and hopefully sooner than later, a third book could be the one to focus on how we live in Gnostic times (a Philip K. Dick world); and how it can assist you in these archonic times. Nonetheless, Other Voices of Gnosticism will grant you a further and deeper understanding of the Gnostic influence and legacy in western culture…and your own existence.
