Alex Tsakiris joins Heretics Anonymous to discuss a variety of incendiary topics. We were also joined by Occult Fan and the Moondog Vance, all of us reflecting on 2018 and speculating on 2019 from an Esoteric perspective. It was a disturbing but amazing discussion, always brimming with humor and personal insight. As a bonus, I include a past interview with Alex that focuses on his book Why Science is Wrong About Almost Everything.
This is a partial show for nonmembers. For the second half of the interview, please become a member. And please subscribe to my YouTube channel for more Heretics Anonymous.

My individual observation is that the more the world washing machine shifts into its cyclic rinse phase, the more materialism is rising in newer, fancier and more obscure ways. Even spiritually minded people who would in clarity realize that matter is a “sometimes-not-so-much-of-amusement park” prison, now view existence here as salvageable.
Granted: we are near the border here – there will be certainly imaginable and unimaginable worse hells beyond our state. That is, however, what makes this paradigm more dangerous: in obvious hells it is far easier for one to accept its slavery and plight, and therefore far easier to recognize the need to leave.
There are many ways to fool ourselves, both internally and externally, and the only thing both the archons and their ego interface are programmed to want and do, is to survive, to persist, to keep on existing, regardless. They will even pretend to be defeated, if needed!
These are, nevertheless, very interesting times. Traditional (I mean as we know tradition right here and now, in our cultural contexts) human social structures provided, on a positive side, a much-needed stability that allowed the spiritual connection and recognition to emerge for those “born above”, and a pacification of the parasitical instinct on those “born below”. As traditions dissolve more and more in our present times, the trumpets sound louder and louder. For one, the trumpet is a call for an opportunity to return Home; for the other, it is a signal of unleashing, of permission to enact instinct, to hunt for prey, as a trained wardog who reacts to the signal of its master to attack freely.

“Blessed are you when you are hated and persecuted. Wherever you have been persecuted they will find no place.”
I have, myself, observed the gnostic message being used more by people as a means to improve their cell conditions, than as a means to understand the prison and leave it. This does not mean I am for asceticism, no. This means that, to me, temptation is the real danger, because it actually has the potential to corrupt, while sin is just the normal state of being in this illusion, that can cease when the formal existence ceases. To successfully tempt one to consider this place – and this existence – as something it is not, is to distract oneself into remaining in or returning to the state of sin.
That is why, in my opinion, sin existence is always forgiven, because it is a state and actions of sin emerge from that state, just like a fish with gills can only really breathe water, whether there’s will involved or not. However, the application and spreading of temptation is not always forgiven, especially if it is knowingly and towards attempting to corrupt those of Holy Spirit into a sin state:
“Whoever blasphemes against the father will be forgiven, and whoever blasphemes against the son will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the holy spirit will not be forgiven either on earth or in heaven.”
Anyway, sorry for the rambling.
